Bentonville Club Hosting State Candidates

— Six candidates for state offices will speak during a meeting of the Republican Women of Bentonville this week.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the public library, 405 S. Main St. The public is invited.

Supreme Court candidates Tim Cullen and Robin Wynne will be among the speakers. They are running for the seat that belongs to Justice Donald Corbin, who is retiring. The Supreme Court race is nonpartisan.

Speakers also will include Marge Wolf and Rebecca Petty, candidates for the state House of Representatives in District 94, and Damon Wallace and Grant Hodges, candidates for the House in District 96. All are Republicans.

The primary election, including judicial elections, will be May 20.
