The Rockhounds scored five runs in the seventh inning and handed the Naturals their second one-run loss in as many days. Midland trailed 6-3 entering the seventh.

Justin Trapp was 3-for-4 for NWA (2-3) with a double and 2 RBIs. Mark Threlkeld was 2-for-5.

Ryan Dull (1-0) took the win in relief of Chris Jenson. Angel Baez (0-1) took the loss.

The teams will wrap up their three-game series at 6:30 p.m. today. The Naturals return home Thursday to take on Frisco in the home opener at Arvest Ballpark.
