— A man died Monday after he was burned in a trailer fire Sunday.

Daniel Hull, 71, was taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale, then flown to the Mercy Burn Center in Springfield, Mo., where he died, according to David Kissinger, Fire Department public information officer.

The body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for an autopsy, said Roger Morris, Washington County coroner.

The fire, at 1487 Midway Ave., was reported at 7:14 p.m. Sunday. Firefighters arrived at 7:20 p.m., found and removed Hull from the trailer after neighbors said he was inside. Fire engines were on the scene until 10:03 p.m., said Duane Miller, Springdale fire marshal.

The trailer was a total loss, Miller said. The trailer is in Midway Trailer Park, 3810 S. Thompson St., which is owned by Roy Courdin, according to Washington County property records.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Miller said. The death is under investigation by the Police Department, said Capt. Richard Farris.
