Rogers Aldermen To Consider Trail Projects

— The design and construction of trails will top the Rogers City Council agenda Tuesday.

Aldermen are expected to approve a $1.69 million contract with Boulder Construction for the construction of a concrete trail from downtown to Frisco Springs. The trail includes six bridges.

"The trail will begin on the Fleming property to the south of Lake Atalanta and run from the bike park to Frisco Springs. There will be four bridges on the Fleming property and two on the Philpot property where the bike park is located," said David Hook, city facilities development manager.

The Frisco Trail will be the first major trail constructed during the $15 million renovation project at Lake Atalanta, Hook added.
