The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s All-Arkansas Preps teams honor 300 of the state’s best high school athletes in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, tennis, track and field and soccer. The teams are chosen by overall tournaments (golf, tennis and track and field) or by members of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette sports department.
Athletes will be honored at the All-Arkansas Preps awards banquet, which will be held Saturday, June 7, in Little Rock. The keynote speaker for this year’s banquet will be quarterback Drew Brees of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.

HOW THEY WERE SELECTED
Members of the All-Arkansas Preps basketball teams were selected by a panel of high school coaches. The top 15 players (plus ties) who received votes were named to the teams.
