Seasonal Offerings
Churches in Northwest Arkansas have planned various events for the Lenten season, which are open to the public and listed below. Lent lasts until Easter Sunday.
Lent
Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., holds a Lenten worship service at 6 p.m. Wednesday. A supper will be served at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Bella Vista United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road, offers a Lenten service at 6 p.m. every Wednesday during Lent. Supper will be solved at 5 p.m. in Luther Hall.

Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 371 Glasgow Road, offers its "Lenten Brown Bag Devotionals" from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday.

St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista, 1 St. Bernard Lane, sponsors the Knights of Columbus Lenten fish fry at 6 p.m. Friday. The menu includes catfish, potato salad, coleslaw, hush puppies, dessert, tea, coffee and water. Cost is $10 per person.

First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, offers weekly Lenten services through April 18. The services will be followed by luncheons at 11:45 a.m. each Wednesday.

Mount Sequoyah Conference and Retreat Center in Fayetteville, 150 N. Skyline Drive, offers weekly Lenten services from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Wednesday until Easter.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers, 1101 W. Hudson Road, continues its special services for Lent at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday. A soup supper is served before each evening service, from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.

First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, 100 S. Gutensohn Road, sponsors its final Lenten fellowship dinner at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Classes follow from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
