Saturday, April 5, 2014

Mercy Northwest Arkansas purchased Ozark Orthopaedic's clinic in Rogers last month. Mercy didn't provide a purchase price by Friday evening.

The clinic at 1101 Horsebarn Road was renamed Mercy Clinic Orthopedics. The clinic's six orthopedists and physician assistant are now Mercy physicians.

The clinic's doctors are: Cody Grammer, John Mertz, Scott Cooper, Mike Griffey, Gannon Randolph and Jacob Kaler and physician assistant Julie Slavik.

Ozark Orthopaedics continues operating offices in Fayetteville, Siloam Springs and Eureka Springs.

Jessica Eldred, Mercy spokeswoman, said the integration with Ozark Orthopaedics of Rogers helps the medical system expand specialty offerings.

She said the clinic's physicians worked closely with Mercy in developing the hospital's Joint Replacement Center. The center received the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for its hip and knee replacement programs in August 2012.
