BENTONVILLE — Six people met Monday’s application deadline to be considered for a vacant position on the School Board.
The board is scheduled to meet Thursday to interview the candidates for the Zone 5 seat that became available when Travis Riggs resigned last month. Candidates must live in the zone that includes a small portion of the School District’s east side.
• Kate Burkes, director of distance learning at NorthWest Arkansas Community College.
• Lisa Clark, youth ministry director at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
• Scott Comiskey, an insurance agent and former Bentonville alderman.
• Randall Hough, director of sales for Pinnacle Foods.
• Kyle Howell, quality assurance agent manager for Walmart Information Systems Division.
• Shane Red, director of customer solutions for Waste Management.
