Quilt Guild The results of a chal

lenge will be the program

at the Thursday meeting

of Modern Quilt Guild of

Northwest Arkansas.

The challenge askedmembers to create their version of a “hashtag” quilt, one that features the hashtag symbol used in Twitter messages. The challenge is particularly pertinent to the guild which was established nationally by members brought together over the Internet.

The local guild meets at 6:30 p.m. upstairs at The Rabbit’s Lair, 116 S. First St.

Knitting Club Knitters and those who would like to learn are invited a new Knitting Club meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 15 at the Bella Vista Library. Beginners will be guided by experienced knitters. Bring current projects or start a new one. Provide your own supplies.

The library is located just east of Town Center off Lancashire Boulevard at 11 Dickens Place.

AT&T Pioneers The AT&T Telecom Pioneers will meet at noon Wednesday at the Guesthouse International hotel in Fayetteville, formerly the Clarion, at the southwest corner of Interstate 540 and Martin Luther King Blvd.

The group is an AT&T sponsored volunteer organi zation comprised of current and retired AT&T employees, family and friends.

They will be discussing current and future projects, and discussing Razorback Council business. The Guesthouse has a buffet lunch for purchase.
