Rogers Utilities Staff Asks People To Remember Easements

ROGERS — With fall planting season getting under way, the staff of the Rogers Water Utilities is asking residents to be alert to where they put plants.

Residents, in a news release from the utilities, are asked to be aware of the location of manholes and meters when planting. Tree roots can cause line damage, while shrubs, trees and tall grass can inhibit the ability of a technician to read a meter or locate a manhole.

Customers with established plants are asked to trim plants and trees to allow access to meter boxes and manholes.

Additionally, residents are asked not to build fences that limit access to meters or manholes.

Questions can be directed to the utilities staff at 479-621-1142 or by email to [email protected].
