1:41 p.m. update The suspicious object was a harmless piece of PVC pipe, according to the Bentonville Bomb Squad.
The Bentonville Bomb Squad is investigating a report of a pipe bomb at 11613 S. Wedington Blacktop Road in Lincoln.
Kelly Cantrell, spokeswoman for the Washington County Sheriff's Office, said someone discovered what appeared to be a pipe bomb while emptying a dumpster near a trailer park.
Cantrell said just before 11 a.m. that the bomb squad just arrived at the scene.
