The author of a book about New Madrid earthquakes will speak Friday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
In her book The Lost History of the New Madrid Earthquakes, Conevery Bolton Valencius chronicles the earthquakes that shook the middle Mississippi River Valley from December 1811 to February 1812 and how they continue to affect the region.
