Queens of the Stone Age has canceled its show scheduled for Oct. 8 at the Arkansas Music Pavilion, according to a news release:
Due to unavoidable circumstances, Queens of the Stone Age is cancelling its show at the AMP on October 8. All tickets will be refunded in full. There is no further action required by ticket buyers to receive their refund. At this time, best efforts are being made to reschedule the show. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Arkansas Music Pavilion – known locally as the AMP – is Northwest Arkansas’ premiere outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past nine years, including the best of every genre – from rock and country to electronica and pop. The AMP has been a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011. After presenting concerts at the Northwest Arkansas Mall, the AMP has moved to a new location at the Washington County Fairgrounds where all 2013 concerts will be presented, under the stars.
