A 13-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle Tuesday morning at Sunset Avenue and Dyer Street, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department. He was transported to Northwest Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The boy was crossing Sunset Avenue on his way to Southwest Junior High School when he was hit by a westbound pickup, said Sgt. Jeff Taylor.
The driver was not cited and investigators found no moving violations, according to the news release.
