PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

DEFENSE DE TREY FLOWERS Flowers was a key contributor toward 14 Arkansas points. His pressure and hit on Gary Nova in the first quarter produced a dead-duck pass that Tevin Mitchel intercepted and returned for a 26-yard score. Flowers had a sack and strip onNova in the third quarter. Chris Smith recovered, leading to a touchdown on the next play. Flowers, a junior from Huntsville, Ala., recorded 4 tackles, a breakup, a hurry, a sack and a forced fumble.

OFFENSE WR KEON HATCHER Hatcher, returning from a nagging hamstring injury, led Arkansas receivers with 4 catches for 45 yards. Hatcher, a sophomore from Owasso, Okla., ran 2 reverses for 19 yards and had 2 kickoff returns for 38 yards.

Hatcher missed two games after aggravating an injury suffered in camp against Louisiana-Lafayette.
