Appointments

Gov. Mike Beebe announced the following appointments to boards and commissions last Wednesday:

Erna Boone, Cabot, reappointed to the Arkansas Respiratory Care Examining Committee for a term expiring Aug. 7, 2016.

Matthew Buchman, Paragould, appointed to the State Marketing Board for Recyclables for a term expiring July 31, 2017, replacing Les Jackson.

Bobby Burns, Beebe, reappointed to the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors for a term expiring June 1, 2016.

Niki Cung, Fayetteville, reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council for a term expiring July 1, 2015.

Tamika Edwards, Little Rock, appointed to the Pulaski Technical College board of trustees for a term expiring July 1, 2020, replacing William Page.

David Elam, Danville, reappointed to the Arkansas Agricultural Board for a term expiring Aug. 18, 2017.

Wes Fowler, Huntsville, reappointed to the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council for a term expiring July 1, 2017.

Ronald Harder, Little Rock, appointed to the Interstate Commission on Education Opportunity for Military Children for a term expiring Aug. 15, 2017. This is a new position.

Kristin Hodge, Little Rock, appointed to the Advisory Council for the Education of Gifted and Talented Children for a term expiring June 20, 2016, replacing Marilyn Nabholz.

Beverly Lyn-Cook, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas Biosciences Institute Board for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2017, replacing Kurt Knickrehm.

Lisa McDermott, Texarkana, appointed to the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques for a term expiring July 31, 2016, replacing Cynthia Wolfe.

Al Miller, Forrest City, appointed to the East Arkansas Community College board of trustees for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2014, replacing John Stipe.

Dr. Michael Pollock, Little Rock, reappointed to the Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council for a term expiring July 1, 2015.

Eddie Schmeckenbecher, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse,Rape and Domestic Violence Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2015.

Annette Watson, Lonoke, reappointed to the Arkansas Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence Commission for a term expiring July 1, 2015.

To the Arkansas Coalition for Juvenile Justice Board for terms expiring Aug. 15, 2016:
