PREP GOLF

Bentonville, Rogers High Split

Rogers High’s Mason Brodie and Bentonville’s Javier Prensa each shot a 1-under par 35 to share medalist honors during Wednesday’s boys match at Lost Springs Golf & Athletic Club.

Bentonville came away with the victory by two strokes, shooting a 159 to Rogers’ 161.

Jack Robertson was next for Bentonville with a 40, followed by Carter Smith and Wade Schaller with 42 apiece. Nick Lisowski finished second for Rogers with a 41, followed by Andrew Kelley with 42 and Bryce McKinney with 43.

In girls action, Rogers came away with a victory, defeating Bentonville by a 122-128 margin.

Bentonville’s Hanna Brauburger shot an even-par 36 for medalist honors, one stroke better than Rogers’ Taylor Erickson. Brooke Matthews had a 39 and Abbie Parker a 46 for Rogers, while Kate Robertson and Emma Kinsey each shot 46 for Bentonville.
