Rogers airport gets $75,000 grant

ROGERS — U.S. Sens. Mark Pryor and John Boozman and Rep. Steve Womack have announced a $75,000 grant to an airport in Rogers.

Pryor, a Democrat, and Boozman and Womack, both Republicans, announced the U.S. Department of Transportation grant to Rogers Municipal-Carter Field Airport on Wednesday.

The money is to be used to conduct a wildlife hazard assessment to allow the airport to improve safety and operations.
