Professor to speak about gun policy

The director of the Center for Gun Policy and Research at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health will speak today at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

Daniel Webster, a professor of health policy and management, has written a book analyzing the constitutionality of recommended gun policies. His book includes data from a national public opinion poll that reflects support among the majority of Americans, including gun owners, for stronger gun-control policies.

Those attending the noon to 1 p.m. lecture may bring lunches; drinks will be provided.

A book signing will follow the Sturgis Hall event.

Seats can be reserved by emailing publicprograms@ clintonschool.uasys.edu or by calling (501) 683-5239.
