Rogers Man Identified As Passenger In Fatal Accident

LOWELL Lowell police have identified a Rogers man killed in an accident Sunday night.
Gleen S. Noriega–Pineda, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from the Lowell Police Department. He was a passenger in a car driven by Oscar A. Sandoval–Romero, 20, of Rogers.
A 1994 Honda Civic driven by Sandoval-Romero was southbound on Bloomington Street when it crossed northbound lanes and hit a utility pole. The accident occured at 10:58 p.m. near 903 N. Bloomington St., according to the news release.
Sandoval-Romero was taken to Mercy Hospital in Rogers then airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., according to the release.
The investigation is continuing.
