Where I live: We live on Ila Street in Fayetteville. It’s this great, little secret street in Fayetteville that’s just between Maple Street and Wilson Park. It’s just a quiet street that’s in the middle of everything. It’s close to the park, close to Dickson Street and close to the University of Arkansas, but with very little traffic. We’ve lived here since 2001. The house was built in 1926, but it’s been remodeled so many times. It’s old, but it’s new. It has a big master bedroom and big closets, which are rare in this part of town.

Occupation: Owner of Eureka Pizza. We are about to build our 10th location. We started right here in Fayetteville on Leverett Street in 1992. I have another business called Local Trade Partners. It’s a trade exchange with 700 members. We started that in 2009.

My favorite space: The deck.

Why? The deck that goes out over the backyard off of the second story. It’s built around a giant tulip poplar tree. We bought the house in the winter, so we were intrigued by this big, dormant tree. In the winter, you can see the park. In the summer, the trees grow up and you really feel secluded.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Add a gas, outdoor fireplace.
