Proposal Would Restrict Multistory Development Next To Shorter Buildings

A proposal by Alderwoman Sarah Marsh has potential to limit the size and shape of new developments around town.
At A Glance
Fayetteville’s City Council met Tuesday and:
• Set next year’s property tax rate at 3.1 mills, the same rate as this year.
• Didn’t act on a zoning request from Kum & Go for 1.7 acres at Mount Comfort Road and Shiloh Drive. The request is scheduled to be heard again Oct. 15.
