— Arkansas beat St. John's 1-0 in a NCAA Tournament game Friday in Durham, N.C. to advance to the round of 16.

“We always say ‘enjoy tonight,’” Arkansas coach Colby Hale said. “We’re in the sweet 16. There are only 16 teams left in the country playing. That’s a big deal.”

Claire Kelley scored the Razorbacks' only goal with three minutes left in the opening half. It was unassisted.

Arkansas' Tyler Allen was given a red card in the game with five minutes remaining. The Red Storm was

unable to take advantage of the Razorbacks playing down a player and Arkansas held onto to the shutout to advance in the tournament.

Freshman goalkeeper Cameron Carter had three saves. The win was her 14th of the year.

Arkansas will play either Duke or Florida on Sunday at noon in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
