Rogers police investigating reported Pizza Hut robbery

A woman called police just before 10 p.m. Sunday reporting she had been robbed at gunpoint at Pizza Hut, 814 W. Cypress, according to call logs.

During the initial 911 call the woman said the man came in, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money then told her to get on the floor. She said the man was wearing a mask, jacket and blue jeans.

The woman said the man was alone and thought he left on foot westbound on Cypress St. toward a neighborhood area. The store closes at 10 p.m. Sundays. The incident is under investigation, said Keith Foster, public information officer.
