Springdale Says Farewell To Seniors

SPRINGDALE — Members of the Springdale High senior class knew Friday’s matchup against crosstown rival Springdale Har-Ber would be the final time they played in Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium.

It ended up being the final game of their high school careers.

The Bulldogs (5-5, 3-4 7A/6A-West) missed the playoffs thanks to the 41-7 loss to Har-Ber and Rogers’ 56-31 win over Rogers Heritage. Springdale said goodbye to 34 seniors, many of whom were key players for multiple seasons as Bulldogs.

“This senior class has done a lot,” Springdale coach Shane Patrick said. “There’s 34 of these seniors that have busted their tail. Some of them for longer than they’ve been in high school. They’ve given everything to this program. They’re all going to go on and be successful in life. … I couldn’t be more proud of this senior class.”
