PEA RIDGE — Jason Daniel Patillo, 39, of Fort Smith was arrested Friday in connection with felony rape involving a 9-year-old girl.
A Pea Ridge resident called police Nov. 4 after she learned of possible sexual assault involving her child. The child was interviewed at the Children’s Advocacy Center, according to authorities.
The child wrote a note telling her mother the man had “put his bad spot on her butt,” according to the probable cause affidavit. During the interview, the child said Patillo had sexual contact with her numerous times over the previous two to three years. The child also displayed the actions using anatomical dolls.
Patillo turned himself in to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, authorities said. He was booked, then released on a $50,000 bond.
