FAYETTEVILLE — The Public Library will discount patrons’ late fees by $1 next week for every nonperishable food item collected.
The “Food for Fees” food drive, scheduled for Monday through Nov. 17, will benefit Cooperative Emergency Outreach and Feed Fayetteville, according to a news release.
Peanut butter, canned tuna and chicken, beans, canned soup, canned fruit and cereal are especially needed.
Don't bring opened, expired or glass products.
Fees for lost or damaged material will not be discounted.
