Jake Davidson, a Southern California teen who made a popular YouTube video asking Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton to his high school prom, showed up with 21-year-old Danish model Nina Agdal after Upton’s work schedule prevented her from going.

Gail Pittman-McDaniel, a School Board member in Tangipahoa Parish, La., wants the board to reconsider a ban on corporal punishment, saying parents, teachers and principals have asked her why schools no longer allow spanking.

Ali Salim, an ex-emergency room doctor in Ohio, was indicted on allegations he raped a 23-year-old woman who was nine months pregnant, killed her by injecting her with heroin and abused her corpse.

Miguel Sanchez, a 59-year-old California man wanted since 2000 on attempted murder charges in Los Angeles, was captured in Colorado Springs, Colo., after someone reported he was urinating on a wall outside a KFC restaurant, according to police Lt. Dan Lofgren, who added, “On the run for 13 years, and then they get caught for being stupid.”
