One year is the longest term that the state treasurer’s office invests in certificates of deposits for state agencies with trust funds. An article in Friday’s editions about investments made by the treasurer’s office had the incorrect term for those CDs.

The motto for the Boy Scouts of America is “Be prepared.” Because of incorrect information from The New York Times, the motto was incorrectly stated in an article Friday about the group’s decision to allow gay youths to participate in its activities.

The Little Rock Board of Directors voted 8-1 to approve a $6,000 raise for board members Tuesday night, with Ward 7 Director B.J. Wyrick absent. Wyrick said via e-mail after the meeting that she intended to vote against the raise but was unable to attend the meeting. The board took a voice vote, with the only audible “no” vote from Ward 5 Director Lance Hines. The vote was incorrect in a Wednesday article about the raises.
