State police arrested a Little Rock man early Thursday morning after he climbed over a fence on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion.
According to Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler, Ramon Taylor, 32, of 8419 Base Line Road, climbed over the fence at the home of Gov. Mike Beebe about 5:30 a.m. and “accessed” a vehicle parked there.
The mansion has a team of state troopers providing “24/7” security, according to Sadler, and Taylor was quickly arrested. Sadler said the man did not resist.
