Storm Debris Cleanup Set

BENTONVILLE — The city will hold a storm debris cleanup from Monday’s storm starting June 4, according to a news release.

City crews will collect debris such as downed tree limbs and sticks. The city asks:

• All debris be ready for collection by 7 a.m. June 4.

• Debris be placed within 4 to 10 feet from the back of the curb or the edge of the pavement. Debris needs to be kept out of drainage ditches and roads.

• Tree and shrub limbs, trunks (no stumps), etc., shouldn't be longer than 6 feet or more than 14 inches in diameter.

Staff will not pick up  any non-vegetative waste or material. Collection will begin 7 a.m. June 4 and will continue until streets have been traveled once. The city will not repeat routes.

Property owners may take material to the city compost facility at 2000 N.W. A St. from  8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
