FOOTBALL UA-LSU to play on Friday again

The Arkansas-LSU football game this fall has been picked up for a Friday broadcast again, with the Nov. 29 game set for a CBS national telecast at 1:30 p.m. from Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.

The Razorbacks and Tigers will face off on the day after Thanksgiving for the third consecutive season and the 16th time in 18 years. The border rivalry has been the season finale every year since Arkansas joined the SEC for the 1992 season.

LSU has won the past two games against the Razorbacks, including a 20-13 decision in Fayetteville last season, and owns a 20-36-2 all time advantage.

Arkansas’ last victory over the Tigers was a big one, as the 31-23 victory at War Memorial Stadium on Nov. 27, 2010, sent the Hogs to the Sugar Bowl and their first Bowl Championship Series appearance.

The Razorbacks, coming off a 4-8 season, will open the season under first-year Coach Bret Bielema on Aug. 31 against Louisiana-Lafayette at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
