HOW IT HAPPENED “I used a 5-iron from the red tee markers and went to the green, which is semi-blind, but didn’t see the ball. One of my playing competitors said I must have gone over the green. He and another player looked in the hole and found it there. I said, ‘Well, that’s the third one!’ I had previously made a hole in one on No. 11 at War Memorial and another one at Fort Roots.”
