Centerton

• Richard Dale Williams, 41, of 18352 Beaver Hollow Road in Garfield was arrested Tuesday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and theft of leased, rented and entrusted personal property. Williams was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

• Austin Forrest, 29, no address available, was arrested Wednesday in connection with felony first-degree criminal mischief, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from the Washington County Detention Center Wednesday on a $3,500 bond.

• Janice Crumpton, 54, of 5000 Luvene Ave. in Springdale was arrested Monday in connection with felony abuse of an endangered or impaired person. She was released from the Washington County Detention Center Tuesday on a $2,500 bond.

• Harold Welch, 25, of 1551 N. Leverett Ave. was arrested Monday in connection with felony residential burglary and third-degree battery. He was released from the Washington County Detention Center Tuesday on a $5,000 bond.

Gravette

• Stephen James Engleman, 49, of 24512 Van Fleet Road in Siloam Springs was arrested Tuesday in connection with failure to appear and battery in the first degree. Engleman was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

• Timothy Joseph Gordon, 31, of 804 SE Dallas St. in Gravette was arrested Monday in connection with possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. Gordon was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fire

Rogers

• A lightning strike and house fire was reported in the area of 505 N. 19th St. Monday, but firefighters were unable to find any fire after they arrived.

• A house fire was reported at 3909 W. Amour Drive on Monday. An electrical smell and burning residue were detected on the furnace. Gas was shut off and the resident told to service the unit.

Rogers

• Edith Garland, 1416 W. Sycamore St., reported Monday a man called, said he was from Publisher’s Clearinghouse and requested she purchase prepaid gift cards to confirm her winnings.

• Peggy Edwards of Lowe’s, 300 N. 46th St., reported on Monday a theft involving an employee.

• Walmart, 2110 W. Walnut St., reported a theft involving an employee on Monday.

• Juan Soto, 404 W. Margaret Place, reported criminal mischief on Monday. Soto told police he found his tires slashed.

• Mike Robinson, 808 N. 10th St., reported theft of a hot tub cover on Monday.

• Zack Zook, 601 W. Easy St., reported burglary after arriving home on Monday to find his apartment door jammed shut from the inside.

Springdale

• Scott Jeffus reported Tuesday a break-in at 6479 Norman Ave.
