A Springdale man was killed Monday night in a single-vehicle accident on Robinson Avenue, near the intersection of Powell Street.
Springdale police responded to the accident about 7:30 p.m. The driver, a 19-year-old man, was pronounced dead as a result of the accident. A preliminary investigation disclosed that debris from the severe storm collided with the vehicle as the vehicle was traveling westbound on Robinson.
The driver’s name was being withheld, pending notification of relatives. Police are continuing the investigation.
