Gerner-Mahon

Elizabeth Ann Mahon and Charles Harris Gerner, both of Omaha, Neb., were married Feb. 3, 2013, at the Chapel at the Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, S.C. The Rev. Leroy Gerner, father of the groom, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and Dr. William Mahon of Rogers.

The groom is the son of Mildred and the Rev. Leroy Gerner of Omaha.

The bride wore an ivory sleeveless A-line gown with pleated illusion straps and a sweep train. The skirt of the sand silk charmeuse featured an ivory tulle overlay appliqued with lace and beading. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of mixed roses in shades of pink accented with hydrangea, freesia and greenery.

Meg Mahon of Rogers attended her sister as maid of honor, and sister of the bride Katie Mahon of Rogers was her bridesmaid.

Noah Gerner of Omaha served his brother as best man. The groomsman was brother of the groom Jake Gerner of Omaha.

The reception followed at the wine cellar of the inn.

The bride is a bilingual middle school coordinator for Partnership 4 Kids in Omaha, and the groom is a student at Metropolitan Community College and a staff technician for Mosaic in Omaha.
