Preparedness Expo Planned

FAYETTEVILLE — Northwest Arkansas Citizens for Better Government, an organization advocating for limited government, will host a “preparedness expo” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Fayetteville Public Library, 401 W. Mountain St., according to a news release.

Travis Whisenhunt, owner of Alpha 2 Zulu Military Supply in Fayetteville, will provide instruction on how to prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies, including tornadoes, ice storms, war and terrorist attacks. The class will focus on budgeting and maintaining adequate energy sources and food and water supplies. A concealed carry instructor will be available to answer questions.
