FAYETTEVILLE — A Springdale resident died Thursday after a Freightliner truck overturned south of Elkins.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified 56-year-old Jerry Harvey as the driver of the truck owned by George’s poultry company.
Harvey was pulling a trailer loaded with empty poultry containers about 10 p.m., according to the accident report.
The load in the truck shifted, and the truck flipped as Harvey tried to negotiate a curve on Hazel Valley Road, also known as Washington County Road 47, according to the report.
Harvey was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center where he died.
