7A BASEBALL Sweating it out Little Rock Central junior Joey Abraham didn’t give up a hit Thursday against Bentonville, but he still had to sweat out his 2-1 victory in the opening round in Rogers. Little Rock Central rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh, then won it in the 10th inning when an errant throw allowed the winning run to score from third. 6C

7A SOFTBALL Bentonville rolls Kate Lucina had an RBI double and a two-run triple to lead Bentonville past Mount St. Mary 10-0 in five innings Thursday at JB Hunt Park in Springdale. Bentonville scored three runs in the first inning and never looked back behind Morgan Vaughn, who allowed only one hit. 6C

7A GIRLS SOCCER Lundy lights it up Ellen Lundy scored three goals Thursday as Rogers Heritage rolled past Little Rock Central in the opening round at Panther Stadium in Cabot. Lundy’s three-goal performance raised her season total to 30, shattering the school’s single-season record of 19. 7C
