Appalachian Trek Topic Of Program
Doug Nelson of Bella Vista will give a talk about his hike of the entire Appalachian Trail at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Lewis and Clark Outfitters in Rogers.
Nelson was 65 when he started his hike that covered more than 2,000 miles.
Boating Course Set For Bella Vista
A boating safety course will be offered in Bella Vista at Riordan Hall from 9 a.m. to 4p.m. on Saturday. The course is open to the public.

Quail Unlimited
Hosts Banquet
The Benton County Quail Unlimited chapter will host its annual fundraiser banquet on Monday at the Quail Unlimited barn 5.4 miles west of Bentonville on Arkansas 72.
Activities begin at 5:30 p.m.and include prize drawings, games, live and silent auctions and a catfish and barbecue dinner.

The Arkansas chapter of Trout Unlimited will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday at Whole Hog Cafe at Fiesta Square in Fayetteville.
Bob Morgan with the Beaver Water District will give a program at 7 p.m. about the history of Beaver Lake and discuss watershed issues.

The Northwest Arkansas Friends of the NRA will hold their annual fundraising banquet on May 13 at the Quail Unlimited barn 5.4 miles west of Bentonville on Arkansas 72.
