Where I live: I live in a condo in east Fayetteville near Mission Boulevard and Crossover Road. It’s just kind of a generic, run-of-the-mill condo. It’s in the East Oaks neighborhood. I like it because it’s quiet and the houses are nice. The yards are nice. There’s a little park right across the street. I also chose the space because it had recently been remodeled.

Occupation: Director of events and patron services at Walton Arts Center. I do the event planning for our receptions and all of the special fun parties that go on there. I oversee all of our front-of-house operations. When the patrons come in, I have to make sure they’re safe, having fun and getting their money’s worth out of their ticket. It’s a really fun, creative job.

My favorite space: Our guest room.

Why? I call it my craft room. I do craft shows, and I have an Etsy.com account. It’s my side job, and it’s how I unwind. I spin yarn, and I’m a jewelry maker. I love the fiber arts. That room has all of my equipment and tools. I can go in there, retreat and be creative. All my fun knickknacks and things that I find at thrift stores go on the walls of that room. It’s turned into just my haven or my retreat.

If I could do one thing to improve this space I would: Add more windows.
