Governor appointments

Gov. Mike Beebe has announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Don Anderson, Rogers, reappointed to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017.

Patricia Bentley, Magnolia, reappointed to the Oversight Committee on Breast Cancer Research for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2017.

Phyllis “Marilou” Brodie, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board for a term expiring Jan. 15, 2018.

Ronald Carroll, Jonesboro, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2016.

David Gilbert, Mena, reappointed to the Waterwell Construction Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2018.

Erin Gildner, Bryant, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council for a term expiring July 1, replacing John Wiles.

Bruce Graves, El Dorado, to the Arkansas Apprenticeship Coordination Steering Committee for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2016, replacing Nathan Muckelrath.

Dr. Laura Hutchins, Little Rock, to the Oversight Committee on Breast Cancer Research for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2017, replacing Dr. James Suen.

James King, Warren, to the State Kidney Disease Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017, replacing Prentice Hall.

Sandra Prater, Jacksonville, reappointed to the Arkansas Dietetics LicensingBoard for a term expiring Jan. 15, 2018.

Pete Strozier, Charleston, reappointed to the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017.

George Weaver, Jacksonville, to the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council for a term expiring July 1, replacing Vivian Ozura.

Dr. Scott Young, Little Rock, reappointed to the State Kidney Disease Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017.

To the Arkansas Cemetery Board: Courtney Crouch Jr., Hot Springs, replacing Michael Wilcox; John Harris, Little Rock, reappointed;

Dr. Mary McGehee, Little Rock, reappointed; Archie Sanders, Pine Bluff replacing Steve McDonald. These appointments are for a term expiring Jan. 15, 2017.
