North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison will offer free colorectal cancer screenings through the Claude Parrish Radiation Therapy Institute.

Residents can call between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. today through Friday to secure screening supplies from the institute. Tests will be performed at home and supplies will then be returned to the institute between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

April 15 or April 16.

Results will be mailed to participants in six to eight weeks.

Author and radio host Garrison Keillor will take his show A Brand-New Retrospective to the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville on Thursday. The show is to begin at 7 p.m.

The show features diverse influences, including hymns, Tchaikovsky, pop tunes and limericks.

The 70-year-old Keillor, best-known as the host of A Prairie Home Companion, will be joined by Richard Dworsky, leader of The Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band; conductor and pianist Rob Fisher; and singer and actress Christine Digiallonardo.

Tickets for the show cost $38-$76.
