Smith-McDonough

Kristie Leigh McDonough of Fort Smith and Richard Daniel Smith of New York City were married Oct. 6, 2012, in the conservatory at the historic Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs. David Blumenthal officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Terri and David McDonough of Garfield. She is the granddaughter of Jean Ann Valente of Tulsa, Okla., the late Donald Valente and the late Arlene and Jerome McDonough.

The groom is the son of Miriam Smith of Fort Lee, N.J., and the late Lawrence Smith. He is the grandson of the late Henrietta and Saul Smith and the late Sophie and Phillip Feldstein.

The bride wore a white satin, strapless sweetheart gown with a full-length ballroom skirt that featured layers of tulle appliqued with lace and embellished with pearls and sequins. The waistline was accented with satin roses, pearls and sequins, and the gown flowed into a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

Ferrin McDonough of Pea Ridge attended her sister as matron of honor.

Pete Weisman of Phoenix served the groom as best man.

Flower girls were nieces of the bride Aleigha McDonough and Jasmine Crain and niece of the groom Danielle Smith.

The reception followed the ceremony in the conservatory.

The couple honeymooned in Ireland and now resides in Las Vegas.

The bride is a ballroom dance instructor at Dance Charisma and is pursuing a degree at University of Nevada in Las Vegas. The groom is the national sales director at eConnect Inc.
