Submarine topic of museum exhibit

An exhibit honoring all commanding officers for the Razorback submarine has opened at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum, 120 Riverfront Drive, in North Little Rock.

The temporary exhibit willfeature photographs, biographies, sea stories from crew members and personal artifacts from the commanding officers.

“We wanted to showcase all 17 commanders during the Razorback’s 27 years of service, which included World War II, the Vietnam War andthe Cold War,” said Allison Hiblong, assistant curator and the museum’s education director.

Joseph Talbert Jr., the submarine’s last commanding officer, died in 2012.
