Senior Changes Position, Delivers For Springdale From Mound

Matt McDonald, Springdale High senior, has played a key role in Springdale’s 2-0 start in the 6A/7A-West Conference. Last week against Siloam Springs, McDonald drove in five runs and pitched a complete-game one-hitter in a Springdale doubleheader sweep.
Matt McDonald just wanted a chance to show his coach what he could do as a starting pitcher.
