Art classes help cancer patients

The Washington Regional Cancer Support Home will offer the spring Clay 4 Cancer program with the following two classes: Clay 4 Cancer Scarves - 6-8 p.m. April 16 and April 23. Make a unique scarf using mixed media, block printing and embellishments.

Two-Dimensional Clay Mosaics - 1-3 p.m. Saturdays through April 27. These look like traditional mosaics but are easier and very relaxingto do. Finished pieces will be about 24-by-17 inches, plus frame. This class is for beginners to advanced.

The Clay 4 Cancer program is provided for all cancer survivors. A spouse, support person or caregiver is invited to attend classes as well. Each class will be conducted at the Community Creative Center in the Nadine Baum Studios, 505 W. Spring St. in Fayetteville.
