100 YEARS AGO March 13, 1913 Members of the house were in a merry mood yesterday afternoon, in anticipation of adjournment today, and the confusion was like that in school the day before vacation begins. Bills which came up, but had no chance to pass, were handled recklessly, most of them being tabled as fast as they were read. As a consequence, the Thirty-ninth General Assembly will die with a light calendar.
