FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas went through its second spring practice in shorts Tuesday afternoon at Reynolds Razorback Stadium, with one more workout remaining before the school’s spring break.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to practice Thursday at the stadium, take off four days for spring break and resume drills Tuesday.

The Razorbacks are practicing without defensive end Austin Flynn, the senior who transferred in prior to last season and registered 10 tackles and three quarterback hurries. Coach Bret Bielema said Monday night at a Razorback Club meeting in Searcy that Flynn would not be a part of the team this fall.

The 6-5, 260-pounder from Torrance, Calif., was pulled over and charged with DWI and careless and prohibitive driving Feb. 13. Flynn had a blood-alcohol content of 0.14, higher than the legal limit of 0.08.

Bielema said in a Feb. 25 interview that he and Flynn had agreed on the course of action that would return him to good standing, saying “if he upholds his end of the contract, we should be in a happy spot here probably at the beginning of summer camp.”
