So if I push a refrigerator up against my front door, someone will call the swat team. They will shut the neighborhood down, remove the refrigerator, take me to the hostpital, and no charges will be filed. Barricading oneself in ones own house should be a felony.

Only if you've got a gun and you've locked yourself in your own house...

Wonder if one would get a swat team if one put a sign in one's yard that says; "Barricaded in house."

We assume somebody had good cause to think he was suicidal.
...
It's maybe not the case here, but one problem is, so many suicidal white men seem to have the desire to take others down with them.
...
So he's "clean cut."
If he had a long beard and holey jeans would that make a difference?

BTW, in my 83 years I've learned that men are much more emotional than women.
Back in the 1950s they used to spread lies saying the opposite.

Those were the good old days of constant mother-in-law jokes and "Take my wife--please.".
Haw, haw.
Some people still seem to be living there, back in the 1950s.
